The Art of Conscious Dying

It's time to talk about death and dying

Hello
I've just joined and wanted to share with you the reason for my interest in discussing conscious dying.

I'm writing a book called 'The Meaning of Death: The Art of Living and Dying' and so my research has brought me to this site.

It's exciting to find people who are actively talking and bringing this topic into the light.

Diane, I'd like to purchase a copy of your book 'Transition Guide Training' - how can I do that?

Look forward to hearing from you all.

Kind regards
Caroline

Dear Caroline,
Welcome!

There are two possibilities depending on why you want the book. The manual is a course for training trainers and there is a companion book for trainers to use when training caregivers to teach others the Art of Conscious Dying. Both can be found at www.transitionguidetraining.org.

Then I have another book, "Beginner's Guide to Conscious Dying" which I wrote for the general public to generate interest in hiring Transition Guides to teach them the Art of Conscious Dying. It can be purchased through amazon.com or amazon.com.uk, or you can order it from me through the web site, www.ArtofConsciousDying.com. I'll need your address to check postal rates and I can send you an invoice through PayPal.com if you have an account with them. So it depends on what depth you're looking for. If research for your book, the trainer's manual would have the most information.

I'm also connected to a number of others in this field so let me know what you're looking for and I'll put you in touch.
Peace & Joy!
Diane

Hello Diane

Thank you for your prompt reply. I've ordered and paid for a copy of the Beginners Guide and I'd like to purchase the Trainer's Manual but I wonder how it works in countries outside the US. I haven't read the content of the manual but can you tell me how the information can be applied/can be adapted to, an Australian context?

I'd like the manual as a resource for my book, and also for me to consider in my work as a palliative care volunteer. I've looked at the list of healers in Australia but it's unclear who's working as a transition guide. Can you tell me of anyone you know who is practising in Australia that I might contact?

Would you be willing to be interviewed about your experiences and work in this field for my book?

With love and light
Caroline
